Community Involvement

This one word embodies our approach to having a positive community impact. Mort Mortenson, Past Chairman summed it up: “There is no greater gift we can give others than our time and treasure. We do so enthusiastically, with a smile on our face and delight in our eyes."

We cannot mandate an eagerness to help others. It comes from the heart and is as ingrained in our company culture as is a desire to deliver exceptional building results.

As an organization, we have donated five percent of pre-tax earnings to a wide range of community initiatives for more than 25 years. Whether it is renovating a 德扑之星安卓手机版下载home for a Veteran, packing food for the hungry, mentoring students or cleaning up a highway our team members approach each effort to give back humbly, responsibly and with a strong belief that they are simply doing the right thing. And doing something good.

At Mortenson, we believe the world is what we make of it. We've created a culture where people do the right thing, inspire others to achieve their best and put others before themselves. Our Community Impact Program helps us do just that in our areas of focus: Wellness, Environmental, Education, and Shelter. A commitment to reinforcing our core values of Trust, Responsibility, Safety, Teamwork, Service and Stewardship, our Community Impact Program (CIP) helps us achieve a greater impact than any one of us can do alone as stewards of the community.

  • Each of our offices throughout the country has a dedicated Community Impact Team (CIT) to fulfill our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we live and work.
  • Our innovative Giving + Volunteering software platform provides team members opportunities to give securely and vastly, with more than 2 million charities to donate to.
  • Every day, our team members are provided with opportunities to sign up for local Volunteer events, created by their local CIT, Donate to causes they are passionate about and Take Action to complete activities that educate and enable them to be better community members in areas such as Racial Equity, Sustainable Living and Mental Health Awareness + Assistance.

If you would like to contact us about a volunteer event in your area, please reach out to us.

At Mortenson, it’s always a good day to Do Something Good!
